My Lord,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of Your Lordship's Circular Despatch of the 10th of December, 1919, with regard to the Imperial Mineral Resources Bureau.
2.
I have placed before my Executive Council your suggestion that this Colony should contribute £200 to the funds of the Bureau in the year 1920-1921. Before deciding whether to recommend the proposal to the Legislative Council the members of the Executive Council desire to receive somewhat fuller information with regard to the work of the Bureau and the nature of the advantages which this Colony may be expected to derive from its activities. I should be much obliged if Your Lordship would be so good as to furnish me with informat- -ion on this latter point and with any reports that may have been issued with regard to the work of the Bureau up to the
present time,
I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's most obedient,
humble servant,
